Exercise centre

Regular exercise helps to strengthen muscles and maintain or improve fitness, balance, stamina and suppleness at any age, as well as reducing joint pain. As such, regular exercise will help reduce your risk of having a fall.

As with all exercise, make sure you warm up and cool down and that you have carried out a number of simple safety checks before you start. If you are at all unsure on what to do, check with a health professional – for instance your GP or physiotherapist.
